The Communication Hub
has been set up by
Sonalini Mirchandani, a former civil servant, with
nearly three decades of experience in social sector communication
in India and neighbouring countries. Sonalini's work in
communication has encompassed the private sector and also the
international donor sector. She has held leading positions in the
field of communication, including that of Country Director, Johns
Hopkins University/Centre for Communication Programmes, and has
consulted with UNICEF, DANIDA, DFID, the World Bank and other
agencies.
The Communication Hub is a Member of the Steering Committee of the global Stigma Action Network formed to reduce HIV-related stigma and discrimination. The Network catalyzes action and commitment locally, regionally and globally through knowledge sharing, dialogue and partnerships among diverse stakeholders.
