Staying Safe: A Manual to Train Outreach Workers in IDU Interventions

 

	This 5-day training package is aimed towards building the knowledge and skills of the Outreach workers working in Targeted Intervention Projects for IDUs. The training manual has been split into 5 modules based on whether they are technical or skill building ones. The manual covers subjects such as NSEP, OST, Abscess Management, Overdose Management, Behaviour Change Communications (BCC), Advocacy, Networking.   The training manual has a set of supporting aids like sketch cards, game cards, situation cards, posters, handbooks and film discussion cards. The 2 handbooks are intended to be used by the ORWs as IPC aids while interacting with IDUs.
