Staying Safe: A Manual To Train Peer Educators In IDU Interventions

 

	This 5-day training package is aimed at building the knowledge and skills of Peer Educators in understanding the need to work with IDUs, the issues and the strategies to be adopted. The training manual includes specific topics which focus on strategies of Harm Reduction like NSEP, Abscess Prevention and Management and Overdose Prevention and Management.   The training package also includes training aids like sketch cards, game cards, situation cards, film discussion cards, posters and picture cards. Two handbooks have also been provided that can be used by the Peer Educators interact with community members.
